Handling
Handle the artwork with clean, dry hands or clean cotton gloves. Support it securely from the base and sides; do not lift it by one corner or by a mounting fitting. Larger pieces should be moved by two adults and placed on a clean, soft and stable surface while unpacking or preparing for installation.
Cleaning
For routine care, use water and a clean, soft, lint-free microfiber cloth with very light pressure. Do not spray liquid directly onto the artwork or allow moisture to collect around edges or fittings. Avoid abrasive materials, paper towels, scouring products, solvents and strong household cleaners.
Placement
Choose a position protected from repeated impact, sustained heat and persistent moisture. Consider changing daylight and reflections when selecting the final height and angle.
Installing the Standard 5 mm Edition
The standard artwork is produced on 3/16 in (5 mm) Premium Crystal AcrylGlass and arrives with an aluminum back frame and concealed metal French cleat. The rear structure spaces the artwork away from the wall, creating its characteristic floating effect.
- Confirm that the wall is structurally suitable for the selected artwork.
- Install the corresponding wall rail level and secure it with fasteners appropriate for the wall material and artwork weight.
- With the help of a second adult for larger formats, lift the artwork and carefully lower the rear cleat onto the wall rail.
- Confirm that the cleat is fully engaged and the artwork is stable before releasing it.
The appropriate fasteners depend on the wall construction and artwork dimensions and are not universal. Professional installation is recommended for oversized formats or whenever the wall structure is uncertain.
Installing the Optional 3 mm Translucent Edition
The translucent edition uses metal standoff bolts around the perimeter rather than a central back frame. This leaves the rear image area open for a customer-supplied LED panel or LED tape and helps avoid unnecessary shadows from hardware placed behind the center of the panel.
Availability, compatible sizes, standoff positioning and installation requirements must be confirmed before ordering. LED lighting, wiring, power supplies, controllers, dimmers and electrical installation are not included. Any hardwired electrical work should be completed by a qualified professional in accordance with local requirements.
